Psalm 65:5-8
You answer us with awesome deeds of righteousness,
O God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,
who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,
who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
Those living far away fear your wonders;
where morning dawns and evening fades
you call forth songs of joy. Psalm 65:5-8
Monday: Today think about some of the ways God has answered your prayers in the past. Praise him for the awesome ways he answers prayer!
Tuesday: Think about how God is our Savior and the only true hope that any people can have. Pray that the church, both local and worldwide, would place its hope fully in him.
Wednesday: Think about the immensity of mountains and the power of the sea, and meditate on God’s amazing power and strength that can form mountains and calm the seas. Praise him!
Thursday: Pray for nations that are in turmoil or at war, that God’s kingdom and peace would spread, overcoming conflict and turmoil of all sorts.
Friday: Pray for missionaries who are working far away and those with whom they are working, that God’s wonders would be acknowledged and praised in all places.
Saturday: God does call forth songs of joy where morning dawns and evening fades. Join in this chorus of praise that is lifted to God from east to west across the world he has created.
